NerdCore — We are the target audience. We are at the center of fantasy, science fiction, comic book culture, and the realm of the fantastical.

I’m a fan in the trenches and have been listening from the comments, during new trailers, and through announcements made at the conventions — knowing firsthand what we’re looking for in entertainment.

One of the biggest problems in the fictitious fractals is that these fandoms — we are the ones at the frontline of facts, the canon keepers, the daydreamers — we are ignored.

CEOs and studios think they can get by without the heart of the art. While they’re chasing movie stars, we’re craving authenticity.

As Nerds, a term of renown, our cry is: “Did you know?”
